What is a session?

A session is one of the main parts of any scientific conference in which participants present their papers in person, orally, and formally. At the International Conference on Current Issues in Language, Literature, and Applied Linguistics (ICLLA) in May 2025, each session is usually held in one of the previously designated classrooms or rooms of the Faculty of Engineering, Islamic Azad University of Mashhad, and consists of several consecutive presentations that are planned in advance by the conference secretariat.

In simultaneous sessions, participants are referred to different rooms according to the schedule announced by the conference secretariat. On the day of the conference, each person returns to the meeting location at their designated time and presents the paper they had previously submitted to the referee and attendees.

For presenting papers, a PowerPoint template has been prepared by the conference secretariat and placed in the "Conference Day Information" tab on the iclla.ir. Presenters are required to use this template to prepare their files and include the key points and requirements for presenting their paper in it. Note that the number of slides should not exceed 25 pages.

Each presentation takes about 30 to 40 minutes, during which the researcher must explain their paper scientifically and coherently to the session referees and interested audiences. The title of the paper, other participants who are interested in your topic may also attend the session for free.

At the end of each presentation, the referee records his/her final opinion and score. If the referee recognizes your presentation, he/she will include your name in the list of official oral presentations. These certificates will be published online and will have a logo, hologram, and official signatures from the conference to ensure they are guaranteed.
